We are currently building out our systems, and undergoing the necessary regulatory checks, to ensure that the implementation of our smart meters are accurate and correct!
Smart meters can be used for both electricity and gas. They measure and record usage in real-time, and send the readings automatically to us, right here at Jellyfish. This means billing is accurate to usage and is never based on estimates, as it does not require the customer to contact us about their readings.
What sets smart meters apart from traditional meters is that they come with an in-house display (IHD), so that you, the customer, can see your electricity usage and what this converts to money wise. As a result, there are no surprises on your bills!
They are also affordable to run and can help you identify your electricity use patterns and thus identify opportunities for reducing waste and saving energy.
Smart meters can be applied to either non-half hourly or half hourly meters. If you would like to discuss options for changing to a smart meter, once we announce our official launch date, you can call our customer service team on 0345 222 3030.
