Here at Jellyfish we offer a range of different products to partners, businesses and domestic users.

Below are a number of key terms you’ll see mentioned in our products and their definitions to help you select the best option for you.

Variable/Fixed Tariff

A standard variable tariff means that your rate will go up and down based upon the price of energy at that time. A fixed tariff means that your rate stays the same for the duration of your contract.

Term Duration

The term duration is the length of the contract period we are offering you. Typically, this would be denoted in months.

Renewable

We offer a number of renewable tariffs that when selected means your energy has been collected from renewable sources and has the relevant OFGEM certification.

Promotional Tariffs

If you are already a Jellyfish customer and are close to your renewal date, we may offer you a promotional retention tariff so that you’ll stay with us as a customer.

In addition to this, Jellyfish Partners may also have their own Partner Exclusive tariffs which they can offer you as a business.

When you fill in your details to join Jellyfish Energy, a number of factors determine the products we can offer you. These factors include:

  • Usage band - the amount of energy you use in a year

  • Location - which region you are in dictates the types of products we can offer

  • Credit - if you have a good credit rating, you are deemed a low risk customer and we can offer you more favourable tariffs

  • Start dates - energy costs are continually fluctuating, therefore your start date and the cost of energy around that time will dictate the product you’re offered
